This Friday, June 15, 2018, marks the beginning of a spectacular weekend with aircraft and cosmonautics in Brno. Come celebrate 100 years of Czechoslovak aviation industry and 40 years of Czechoslovak cosmonautics – enjoy a packed program full of music and unique exhibitions.

The international space hackathon ActInSpace comes to the Czech Republic for the first time! ActInSpace is an international technology innovation competition where participants can utilize patents and technologies from ESA and CNES (French National Space Agency).

During the third May weekend, the Astronomical Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Ondřejov hosts Open House Days. It's a unique opportunity to tour the observatory facilities with commentary from observers and scientists, including the largest telescope in the Czech Republic with a 2-meter diameter. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – always 9 AM to 5 PM. Accompanying program. Saturday includes additional activities.
